Gregg, thanks for the tip, but the server is responding OK, another Apple device (not on 4.3) is still able to sync with the server and the 4.3 device is also able to connect to the server via the Safari browser and to authenticate and view the traveler homepage. It just can't sync anymore. I think its an iOS problem rather than Traveler but I can't downgrade the iPhone
